Welcome to Pumpkinburg!  This year we are re-designing our web site to focus on some great Halloween crafts.  In the coming months we will be adding several videos showing step by step how to make some fun and creepy Halloween decorations.  We’ve also added a new store where you can find all the supplies that you need to make the crafts you will see on the site.  We’re looking forward to a fun and exciting Halloween 2012.

I'm going to show you the steps I use to make these papier mache pumpkins. I've posted links to videos that show the process of each step as well, so you can see how these are made. Papier Mache Pumpkin in Store

I've been making papier mache pumpkins each year for over 20 years. I decided one day it would be a fun project and have continued to make them over the years. I've made them for myself and have sold many of them. They are a popular craft item because they are realistic, durable and can be used year after year. I've painted faces on them and have also made into jack o'lanterns. I've also sculpted faces on them as well.
